It was a perfect place just like the pictures! We love it!

Great place! Was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We came during one of the hottest weeks of summer so it was nice to have the two AC units, while the master bedroom and the loft got very cool, the living room and dining area would stay kinda warm, but it’s better than having no AC at all. Both patios are very nice, we enjoyed the back patio with the jacuzzi and all the nice string lights, the front patio is nice too with furniture and a fire pit. Kitchen was very well stocked and the coffee lovers will enjoy this place as you have a drip machine, two French press, a kettle for tea, as well as a goose neck kettle and pour over filter.

Beautiful charming cottage, perfect for a family of 4 or 5. Quiet neighborhood, short drive to the zoo. We really enjoy our stay.

We had a perfectly relaxing stay at Molly Mei’s. The home and surroundings are beautiful. We especially loved the hot tub and barbecuing out on the deck. We loved it so much we extended an extra night!

Molly Mei was amazing—very fast and responsive to any questions, and we really appreciated the detailed check-in instructions and helpful updates about when the house would be ready. Everything felt very smooth and well-organized. We would absolutely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again in the future!

Mollys place was so cozy, perfect space for 2 which was all we needed, but you could definitely have more quest than 2. It was clean and peaceful, modern and cozy at the same time. She was very responsive, we didn’t need much from her but there was a couple questions I had after arrival and response was quick. I would recommend and definitely be coming back. It’s beautiful in the summer, I can’t wait to see it in winter. Thank you for your hospitality

Cute cabin in Big Bear

Molly Mei’s home was cozy and clean. Beautiful surroundings, near town, hiking and the lake. Would stay here again.

This cabin was exactly like described. Spent 4 nights here with my wife and 2 daughters. The cabin had plenty of room and we never felt cramped. The kitchen was nice and functional. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening and while there is no fence, there is a hill and trees and we did not feel exposed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front patio enjoying the propane fire pit. We ran out of propane and all it took was a quick message to the owners and the propane was switch for a new one before we returned home from playing mini golf. Would definitely recommend this cabin and would definitely stay here again.

Molly's place was perfect for my small family. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. We loved that it was conveniently located near all the major shopping centers and big bear activities.

We loved molly meis place! Everything was listed accurately. Place was clean, had many kitchen utensils for us to use. Coffee grounds were supplied, cooking oil, salt and pepper were also available. If we are ever in big bear again we would rebook with Molly mei at one of her stays! The hot tub was a plus!

Molly was very responsive and helpful right from the start. Upon entering the cabin, the space was very welcoming & beautifully decorated. All the beds were comfortable, with more than enough pillows and bedding for our needs. Cooking in the kitchen was so easy with all the necessities provided - the pots and pans were a nice set (not just old spares). The water temperature in the shower quickly heated up and the water pressure was nice (not always the case in the mtns). Our family was very comfortable on the sectional sofa and enjoyed using the fireplace each night. And, relaxing in the jacuzzi after a long day was so amazing! We did have an issue with the wifi the first night, but Molly and her team contacted Spectrum and scheduled a technician the next day. Her team handled it while we were out - after replacing the router, all was in order by the time we returned home after a day of hiking and exploring. Overall, we would definitely book another stay - thank you, Molly!

My cousins and I had a girls trip and this Airbnb was the perfect size for us. The place was very homey and cozy. Our only concern was upon arriving the counter top and dining table were dusty and dirty. Also it would be nice to have more brighter lights. Other than that we’d definitely come back! It’s a beautiful place & the location is so quiet and peaceful. Thank you Molly for the quick and friendly response.

Super cute place! Perfect for our group of four! Cozy fireplace and great kitchen as we cooked some meals and used the grill on the deck! Would definitely stay again.

The space is beautifully decorated and has a peaceful feel when you walk in. We stayed for five days, and while there were some nice aspects, there were also several issues. There were ants in the kitchen, bathroom, and even in the bed—I woke up a couple of times to ants crawling on me. When I messaged the host, they mentioned there was bait under the sink, which made it clear this is a known issue. The WiFi dropped constantly—we couldn’t get through a single show. The home wasn’t very clean, with cobwebs and areas that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The entrance is in the back of the house, so you walk past the neighbor’s yard, and there was a large puddle where we parked. The biggest letdown was the jacuzzi—it was dirty, low on water, and not usable, even though my kids had been so excited for it. Overall, the stay didn’t match what was advertised, which was disappointing. With some care and updates, this could be a lovely space.

Comfortable and clean space with great host attentiveness and care. Great climate control and cozy furniture and linens. Quiet area not far from town if driving. Ants were a little persistent, so make sure to keep any food stored away in sealed containers. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for an updated and comfortable stay.

I loved staying in this cabin. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Cozy, peaceful and quiet. Yet only a 10 minute drive to the village and 6 minutes to the grocery store. Everything was perfect and I can’t wait to stay here again! I can imagine the cabin being a bit cold in the winter though, as the main heater is in the living area, so as soon as you walk into the kitchen/bathroom/hallway, it’s colder. The hosts are quite responsive too so they made the whole process and stay comfortable and easy. Either way, I can’t wait to be staying here again and would recommend all my friends.

Absolutely love this place! The home was beautiful inside and super cozy inside. It had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was stock with everything we needed to make breakfast and enjoy drinks and wine in the evening. The best part was the hot tub! It was perfectly warm and completely clean. I would happily book this place again!

We chose Casa Moonridge for our 7th wedding anniversary & had a fabulous time. We were there through the Line fire & were close to needing to be evacuated because of how close the fire was & how smokey/orange it was outside - which just meant we had a lot of entertaining ourselves at the house to do! We did a lot of cooking & grilling, binged true crime shows, floated in the hot tub, roasted marshmallows, watched the presidential debate, & generally were just TOGETHER. It was a WONDERFUL getaway. There were some ants in the kitchen that we were tangoing with, but I hear that's normal in Big Bear this time of year. We also had to fight with the WIFI a bit - the TV kept buffering, but overall these were minor issues. The house is exactly as it looks in the photos. We felt safe. Even though the neighbors are close, we still felt like we were in our own little world. Molly & Seth were also very communicative & allowed us extra time with checkout. 10/10 recommend!

Such a beautiful home! The pictures did not even do it justice, it was so gorgeous!! We really appreciated the amenities offered, the kitchen was stocked with pretty much any tool needed. The beds were super comfy and the outdoor seating was perfect for outdoor convos! It did get pretty hot upstairs as it was summer time but at night it cooled off nicely. Highly recommend for a little getaway!

So many cabins in Big Bear, it's hard to choose! We picked this one for the hot tub and the bedroom layouts to fit me and two friends for a girls weekend. There were lots of flies in the place when we got in but they all died out by the 2nd day. The AC units were cold but dripped during the night. The hot tub was fairly straightforward after a little help from the hosts and we even forgot a bag of food when we were heading out and they called us and let us know how to get inside!

We are very happy with our stay at Casa Moon Ridge. The decor is lovely, and the kitchen was excellent. We loved grilling on the deck and chilling in the hot tub in the evening. It was a very relaxing experience and we’ll definitely be back.

We had a great night at Molly’s house. Everything is great, will definitely visit again.

Very cute cabin and well decorated

Really loved staying here. The house is charming and on a quiet street, though to get anywhere takes only 5 minutes. The management company is really responsive. Whenever I come back to Big Bear, I will see if this place is available first!

Beautifully decorated cabin close to everything, including a 10 min walk to the zoo. Came stocked with mostly everything we needed. Some issues included an unresponsive host (all automated messages), a fireplace that needs cleaning (we couldn’t burn the wood we bought as the smoke billowed inside despite an open flue), a loud furnace at night that kept us up (and needed to turn it off as a result), and uncomfortable pillows.

There were a few things around the home that were not the cleanest, namely there was significant mold in the coffee maker (this was likely due to the coffee maker being stored closed). There were multiple places to sit both inside and outside, however the furniture outside was not wiped down or even dusted off and there was no outdoor broom to be able to do so. This place was very nice to stay in though and I would likely recommend for others staying up in Big Bear as the check in and overall stay were great.

We had a great time. Check in was a breeze and the cabin was perfect. It was clean, decorated nice and it was the perfect mountain getaway. The hosts were great. We had one minor issue and they resolved it immediately, it really wasn’t worth mentioning other than to point out that they did their very best to make our stay comfortable and accommodating. I would suggest this place to anyone wanting a clean and beautiful place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin and highly recommend it! The interior is impeccable, featuring a fantastic chimenea, a well-equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. The hot tub was a delight too, though it needs a minor repair on the lid’s pipe. While some outdoor amenities like the fire pit and grill could use a bit of upkeep, and the outdoor furniture a refresh, these are small notes on an otherwise wonderful stay. This cabin is perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic getaway.

My family lived this cute house and the beautiful Big Bear surroundings. The owners were helpful and responsive. They even found my husband’s hat which he had left there and sent it back to us.

I stayed here for two nights with two toddlers and we loved everything about is this cozy home.

From the moment you drive through the neighborhood, we knew we picked the right home to enjoy with our family. The home was well equipped with kitchen amenities, bathroom supplies, and all Living spaces had a delightful view from every angle. The decor was comforting and cozy making us feel right at home.

Loved the place. Close to the ski resorts and local attractions. Host was very responsive and nice. We will stay there again!

Overall, me and my 3 gfs had a good stay... however we did have some concerns and just some heads up info about the beautiful house. When we first pulled up it was dark and there were no outdoor lights on. We had a hard time getting up to the house because the path was covered with snow and mud and no lights to light our way up. The code to open the door didn't work so had to call and get a new code. The lighting inside is very dim lit and more of a romantic lighting. No full length mirror. The house is probably more suited for a couple. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean up before we left. Even though we had a few small difficulties, Me and my gfs had a such a great time and the owners were helpful with recommendations on places to go as well as responded back quickly!

Molly Mei’s home is in a great location. Quiet neighborhood surrounded by tall trees. Short trip to The Village, zoo, and the grocery store. Bear Mountain is visible from the home as well which is pretty cool. The house was clean and included everything needed for our stay. There are also games for the kiddos which was great during down time. Great place and looking forward to coming back!

Great host, and very responsive when something pops up, we had an issue with the door, and the response to that issue was incredibly immediate, it felt I called my friend, and the house was amazing, everything was great!

Great cozy getaway cabin that has all the amenities you would have in a typical home! House felt very cozy and very to use appliances. Host was very responsive to questions and the hot tub definitely was a huge plus for the cold!

The place is absolutely beautiful. We loved the vibe, the design, and the location. The vet in the master is very comfy and the two queen beds up upstairs are also comfy. it was hard getting it, and we actually had to pull the door knob towards us in order to get in with the lock code. I didn’t know that at first and I had to actually reach out to the host for them to instruct me on how to get inside. Additionally, the heater malfunctioned consistently in all three areas, the both bedrooms and the central heating are. We had to have the maintenance guy come over twice to fix the heater and also give us space heaters, because at the end of the day at ended up not working well. The polls in the living room fell off and almost hit our infants. We had to have maintenance come in and fix those. The firewood we ordered was damp and would not light. The host came by with the firestarter and a bottle of wine which we highly appreciate the generosity .The shower felt like knives.

Molly was a great host -- extremely responsive and friendly. The cabin was charming, cozy, and would recommend it to future guests.

Great place!

We loved our stay! It was absolutely beautiful and the aesthetic reminded us a lot of our home actually, so we felt right at home. We have all floating shelves in the kitchen as well and black, white and wood… anyhow, it was great. Really loved this cabin, it had such a peace to it and the neighbors are really quiet too. The restaurants in the area were surprisingly amazing. Not very common in mountain towns. Tropicali is a must! Anyhow, thank you for the hospitality.. it was great! Oh! And the shower pressure was a dream

We had a great stay in this cute cabin. Very quiet neighborhood and loved having coffee while looking at the beautiful pine trees through the A frame windows. The zoo is close by and was fun to walk through to see the rescued animals. The shower in this bathroom is absolutely amazing. Great water pressure and nice and hot! We were able to watch tv by logging into our Hulu/ Netflix.

The house is beautifully decorated, soft bath towels, the private spa is perfect the only thing to complain about is the shower water pressure, it’s a bit intense but you get used to it.

The place looks just like it did in the pictures. However, when I first got there it had a weird smell that I couldn’t figure out. The floors were disgusting. It didn’t look like it was cleaned at all, which made me wonder why they are taking a cleaning fee from us. I would have expected to walk in and it smells of Lysol or any cleaning products and clean floors. There was dust, crumbs and a few pieces of trash (wrappers) on the floors. There is only one bathroom with the worst shower head ever. It was quite painful to take a shower tbh. My 11 year old daughter almost started crying. This cabin had an ant problem. The owners also messaged me asking if I would be willing to put the trash bins out on the street. Even though I was on vacation and didn’t want to be bothered I told myself its no big deal. When I went to go do this task I saw that both bins were completely covered in spider webs. Made this task disgusting. Personally I didn’t love this stay.

We chose this cabin for a quick weekend escape to Big Bear Lake. It was a quick 7 minute drive into town. We liked the location being tucked away. This property was one of the few in the area that had AC and that made for a comfortable night's sleep during the middle of summer. We were able to cook a few meals at home and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was quaint. The water pressure was intense but bearable. Overall, we'd stay here again. Nice property and home. Great for a 2-3 day trip.

House was exactly as described in the listing. The place was clean and all necessities were provided. Easy to find and the provided parking had easy access to the house. The house was close to the lake, village, and shopping. We enjoyed our time there as a family.

Everything was great as expected! Host was very responsive when we had trouble with the code getting into the front door. Location was also great because everything was only 10 minutes away but it also felt private and quiet. The only downside was the shower. It has a super high pressure and seemingly no way to adjust it so it felt prickly/stingy on the skin. Not very pleasant if you have sensitive skin.

Home was exactly as described. Very comfortably furnished, check in was very easy and the neighborhood is very central! Host was very responsive and kind. A very easy and comfortable stay.

The place is great. When we went however the hotub didn’t work. She was nice enough to give us a refund for that portion of the stay. Overall nice little cabin. Shower is strong and hot. Bed is comfy. First day the sink leaked but they had someone come in and fix it ASAP. We went for snowboarding so it was close to the resorts

Very cute place, steep walkway and stairs to deck- made more difficult by packed ice and snow. Inside the house is cute and comfortable. Location is very close to Bear Mountain Resort. We still drove as I wasn’t educated on the shuttle system.

My fiancé and I had the best stay here and will definitely be back! The decor was beautiful and homey, the kitchen had everything we needed to make awesome meals and the hot tub was perfection! Overall the house is beautiful, good for pic, but not worth the price we pay, special on the cleaning fees, we paid 150 for cleaning fees but we have to bring the trash outside the house, put the dishes in the dishwasher and turned on, it feels like we have to do all the cleaning works and pay for nothing. Also the cleaning lady was very rude to tell us to leave even there s only 30mins delay, so we have to do makeup in the car … Overall not worth what we paid

This cabin is beautiful, well stocked, and clean. Everything was as good as advertised, I would definitely stay here again. The hot tub, BBQ, and fireplace were the highlights of the home.

Lovely chalet, exactly as advertised. Management company communicated with me, when I texted owner she was too busy. when I asked about the cleaning fee being so high (Istayed there alone), management had no answer. later, owner said "for cleaning hot tub" huh? plus there is a service charge, dont know why, as I took out someone else's trash, put dishwasher on, picked up everything. BIGGEST FLAW: The place was cold, no matter how high i turned up heater, plus space heater in bedroom. I dont know why, perhaps a fan would have helped. another guest wrote that as well. ALSO: No instructions for using the fireplace or the fire ring on the front deck. FINALLY: I overall, a very nice quiet experience for me fell on the 2 steps from jacuzzi as there wasn't enough room for my food to land on the deck.. less than 6 inches or so. Not good. Mostly, it was disappointing to me that Ms. Mei didn't even attempt a greeting, but wrote in depth requesting this review.

Such a beautiful escape! I celebrated a birthday at Molly’s beautiful cabin and it was absolutely perfect. During our stay there was a power outage that affected the entire city for over 5 hours - but Molly and the office were so quick to check on us and offer to bring us anything we needed. They even brought us more wine when they dropped off extra flashlights. What a perfect weekend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful A-frame cabin in the woods for our honeymoon. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this cabin! It was exactly as pictured, beautifully designed and cozy to stay in. The check in process was simple and didn't take long. The cabin was stocked with essentials, such as paper products, cookware, basic spices, blankets, games, and more! We had to message the host, Molly, to ask where the silverware was...and someone from their property management group got back to us shortly thereafter! The silverware is in a "secret" drawer inside a larger drawer on the left side of the oven! We really enjoyed both the spa and the grill, as well as the indoor fireplace. We didn't try out the fire pit outside, but would like to next time. If you're like me and need a soft/flat pillow, then I suggest bringing your own here! The pillows were very nice, but were too full/firm for my neck. When we visited there was no snow on the ground, but it's worth noting that there is no covered parking for anyone who might stay here during the winter! There were just two of us for this visit, but it could get a bit crowded (especially for use of the small bathroom) if anyone slept in the beds upstairs. The quality and price of this cabin were really great and I hope to visit again! I highly recommend it if you're looking to visit Big Bear.

We had a cozy and nice stay at Molly Mei’s listing. The listing was what we expected from the pictures. The location was close by town to grab food and groceries. We worked from home for a week and had no trouble with the internet. The kitchen appliances were great to use - loved the gas stove. It had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the hot tub too. Hot tub was a great plus - Although it was tucked in the hillside and bushes and had privacy, it was a bit close to the street where a good number of cars drive by. Other than that, we had a nice little getaway in Big Bear and enjoyed our stay. We appreciated how communicative Molly Mei and rental management team was. Thank you!

Molly has such a beautifully designed home, it's very rustic and modern at the same time. The whole home is an incredible experience. Molly is a fantastic host with very quick replies. She answered all of my questions I asked on time. The home has everything you could need to have a wonderful stay up here in big bear!

Gorgeous home in Big Bear City. Very nicely remodeled. The kitchen was a dream to cook in for most of our meals. And the jacuzzi was such a treat. There is a road behind the house that is relatively active so do keep in mind that passing cars and walkers can see into the backyard/jacuzzi area. But wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely stay again!

You can't beat this rental for the price. Compared to many of the rentals in the area, it was much more affordable and much better looking. The owners have put thought into the design of the space, and it was the perfect size for my wife and our baby. It would also be great for two couples. We loved cooking in the kitchen and the hot tub was wonderful (we used it with the heat off since we were there in the summer). It's also very close to Vons/Walgreens so it was easy to grab any supplies you need. We loved that there was a king bed (so many rentals only have queens!). We appreciated that they had a travel crib so we didn't have to bring our own. The owner was also very responsive to our questions. A few notes: It gets *extremely* warm in the unit in the summer. As the listing states, there is no AC, and there are no fans except a ceiling fan in the upper loft area. We stayed in July and luckily we brought a few of our own fans, but even with those, it was 85 degrees most of the day after 11 am. If you're not planning to be in the unit much and can sleep in hot spaces, you should be fine, but for us with a baby that needed to nap, it was way too hot. That being said, it would be a perfect spot in the winter. It has heaters and a fireplace, a hot tub, and throw blankets to keep you warm. If you are planning on cooking a lot, I would check with the owner on what kitchen items the unit has to make sure it has everything you need, or bring those things from home. The water pressure in the bathroom was bordering on too strong, but we'll take that over no pressure. Finally, while there were plenty of pillows on the beds, they were definitely on the firm side, so bring your own if you're in need of a softer pillow.

The place is amazing, love the decor, the kitchen was pretty awesome, with its on bar across the stove counter. Pretty good location, if you get lost due to the automatic location on the Airbnb app just contact the office. Other than that it’s one of the best locations I’ve visited. Near CVS and market. It is even better if you reserve it for 3+ nights as 2 nights won’t be a great. Would definitely book again knowing about it

Really enjoyed our time here. Had everything we needed, and was in a very convenient location. I would say the only negatives we experienced were the beds and pillows being uncomfortable, and since there is no AC unit, it can get very hot during the summer. Other than that, this place was great and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Big Bear.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Alta Vista cabin. The decor was breathtaking and modern. Communication with the owners was quick and easy, and they even gifted me a bottle of rosé and snacks upon arrival. Lovely touch. Also super close to the village :) Best perk: the hot tub was the perfect temperature. Often times I arrive at Airbnb‘s and the tub takes hours / days to heat up, but not this one :) Highly recommend! Jadea

You’ll love it!

This is a peaceful stay. Neighbors are somewhat close but if you close all the blinds no one will be able to see you. The hot tube is excellent and the place is well up to date with all the appliances. The downstairs bed is massive and the house has a Roku for every TV.

The check-in office is super easy and Molly Mei was very friendly. The house is gorgeous and loved all of the cute accents in the cozy cabin. Love the hot tub and the fire ring. The extra blankets are high-quality and the heater was excellent. The bathroom was so cute and we enjoyed cooking in the nice kitchen. Molly was very friendly, very responsive and even let us check in an hour early since it was ready.

The house is overall cute!!!!! Only has 1 bathroom so be aware. Decor was absolutely gorgeous! Jacuzzi wouldn’t go go temperature required, also was a bit cloudy but smelled like a ton of pool chems as & was already heated so I know forsure whoever set the temperature thought the water tint was fine as well because it wasn’t drained as stated on paper. Aside from that everything Was beautiful & the home was very welcoming. Board games and more included. Also add doesn’t state that there is a fire pit outside but there is & it was very handy and useful!

Beautiful hidden gem in Big Bear! This cabin was a great find! It’s within close proximity to ski resorts, groceries, restaurants etc . The cabin is beautifully decorated in bohemian- mod vibe, very comfortable for a small family.

Beautiful place in a gorgeous location. Very close to everything in Big Bear and the hot tub was awesome. Only issue we had was with the heating unit. Didn’t seem to keep the whole place warm but it didn’t put a damper on our trip as we weren’t home too often.

Casa Moonridge is just as cute in person as the pictures. We visit Big Bear every year and this place has one of the best locations (only a mile to snowboard/ ski)! The check-in/ out process was easy peasy and the rental office staff was amazing and went out of our way to make our stay perfect!

It was a great space. Cozy and comfortable. Nothing crazy, but remote enough to relax and close snuggle to get everywhere. It was cute stylish and was a great place to get away with myself and my 4 kiddos ranging from 4-13. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks again

Great location

We found dust, spider webs and a dirty baking sheet inside of the oven. In the description of the house a grill is listed. So based on that description, we brought all our supplies to bbq. In the house rules, they even listed that if the grill was left dirty, there would be a $25 extra charge. But once we got to the property, there was no grill and the owners didn’t try to clarify or apologize. They just told us that it’s an airbnb glitch. From our understanding, Airbnb doesn’t write the house rules, the owner of the property does. So that answer felt misleading. We were communicating with two people from the property but we didn’t get any clear answers to our questions. The initial response took more than 5 days. The owners also didn’t answer of our remaining questions. The communication was not always friendly. We travel quite a bit and love using airbnb, but it was not great experience.

Perfect for my wife and I, and our three boys. Close to Bear Mountain, and I could walk to the Moonridge Bear Mountain lot (with a shuttle to the mountain). Well equipped to cook dinner every night. Our boys loved the hot tub!

Great cabin in a great location. Minutes from shopping, downtown and ski resorts. The space has been remodeled and updated with new and modern accommodations. We had everything we need in the kitchen to cook our own meals. Our family of four had plenty of space. The 2 girls were in the loft and they were able to make it their own. The downs stairs bedroom was fine for the adults. We would definitely come back to this cabin!!

Great place to stay. Lived up to presentation.

This cabin was not as clean as it looks. If you are a person like me that loves a clean space this cabin will probably make you go insane. Dish washer not working properly, restroom clogged and was not able to unclog, bed linens had obvious dirty stains. Floors and countertops dusty. My family had a great time despite the cleanliness. It was hard for me to relax 😞 only thing that spoiled it for me.

This place was the perfect cozy getaway. Conveniently located near town and near the BigBear Resort which was perfect for us snowboarding. This place was a perfect match for us and it’s decorated for Christmas!

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Casa Moonridge. Check-in was easy and the hosts were super responsive when we needed help with something. The cabin itself was a dream; perfect layout, cozy, decorated and designed beautifully...the hosts even put up a Christmas tree and stockings for the holiday season. This little cabin is amazing, the pictures don't lie, everything was just as expected and better. I love to cook and found all that I needed bar a few spices but even those far exceeded what I'm used to finding. The fireplace was cozy and spa was a nice treat. I would suggest this place to friends as a nice quiet getaway place.

We loved our stay at Casa Moonridge--the design is really inspiring and there are lots of cute touches we found to be really charming. The location is also great for morning breakfast and coffee on Moonridge (and the place has a full fridge, well-stocked kitchen and nice cast iron pans for cooking in as well). Sheets were soft, towels felt luxurious--great little spot for a weekend getaway.

It is a nicely decorated house but like some other guests have mentioned, the house is just that - wonderful taste for decor but a few other aspects fell short. We had to cut our trip short due to some amenities and cleanliness problems but were glad the host was willing to offer the refund for the portion of the trip we cut short. Some amenities were missing or broken while some are not properly cleaned and unusable. It was explained to us that the kitchenware, utensils and mugs cleanliness rely on if previous guests have properly cleaned them. They were not able to check on the items’ cleanliness even during covid times and after charging a $140 cleaning fee. To us it was not very acceptable. Some items were oily or have residues from unknown substance, colander still have dried up vegetables sticked to them, electric kettle was full of stale water and a heavy layer of white residue at the bottom. The wall heater in the bedroom was also broken, the light blub in the restroom went out, the toilet would not flush properly. The host made effort to correct some of the issues but overall we didn’t feel like we were getting what the price of the rental should offer. You are basically paying for the nice decor but if you are looking for a great quality stay I wouldn’t consider it that. Overall we were glad that after some back and forth the host offered an option for us to cut the trip short as the final resolution. I would highly recommend improving cleanliness and amenities management.

I wish I didn’t have to leave a bad review for which I never do unless I have to but I’d rather be honest so that anyone coming to stay here doesn’t have to go through what we went through or maybe they can make a better decision with more information. We took the risk with a high deposit and knew it can come with the territory of staying at someone’s house. Understandable. I’m disappointed to find that without even being notified, we only received $250 of our deposit back. I had to reach out multiple times to find out why. Mind you, we only stayed here a total of 2 nights so in all we were only in the spa for a couple of hours total. We followed all house rules to the T. My husband and I made sure of that. We are very clean people. We even made sure we were extra careful with the spa with no bodily fluids, washed off before entering, and no drinks inside. I’m just so bummed I didn’t listen to my gut and I just wanted a relaxing weekend for my birthday with my family and two kids. My youngest is autistic and it was such a big deal for us to leave the house and stay somewhere for him unfamiliar. When we arrived the spa water was already muggy, which we assumed it was supposed to look like that, also my husband had to fix the toilet flusher because it kept coming undone after use, pine leaves covered all over the deck and patio couch like no one has stayed there for a while so it wasn’t swept, and the front screen was broken (which I made sure to let them know so they didn’t think it was us). I didn’t let them know about the toilet or the pine leaves simply because we didn’t think those were big issues. Other than the aesthetics, I wouldn’t spend $830 for two nights again on this place. Yes, Molly was kind to us when we arrived to the office and there was a fast response on the screen door issue, but if I am being honest it wasn’t worth the stay at all and we could of used that much money on a stay with better experience for two nights.

The place was even better in person! We loved every minute being there. Pure heaven! And molly was amazing!

Had a great time in this beautiful house

The place is nice, but it’s a bit expensive for what you get it. There is a high deposit ($400) and the cleaning fee is unnecessarily expensive ($150). Also, the silverware is really hard to find. But overall we had a nice time and enjoyed staying in the jacuzzi and the hosts are pretty responsive.

My friends and I had a great stay here! Everything was very clean, and it has a nice homey atmosphere, not to mention the CUTE decorations - it really does look like the pictures :) The cabin itself is in a great location, just up the street from the Zoo, super close to the grocery stores, and The Village. There is an in-person check in which can seem like an extra step, however the person who checked us in was so friendly and nice, and it definitely gave the experience an extra personal touch. Check out was super easy, they are clear with their instructions, and they don't require much of you. There is no AC, however if you open all the windows and sliding doors, it is not too bad, it definitely cools down in the evening as well. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, and we can't wait to come back!

Molly's place is beautiful, well cared for and relaxing. It's got enviable style. If you like to cook, you will love the kitchen, so plan on a 7 minute grocery store run to stock up on your ingredients. All of the beds and sitting furniture are super clean and comfy. There are gorgeous soft blankets within reach to every place that you decide to settle in. It's not safe walking distance to town (unless you are fearless about walking through mountain curvy neighborhoods), however an easy 5-7 minute drive will take you right there. Her house is right in the middle of the place for easy swimming lake access and the cute little walking area of Big Bear. Our family of four thought it was great. We're lousy at roughing it. And, this place, certainly didn't even make us have to pretend that we were. Thanks, Molly.

On the surface the cabin was clean and nicely decorated, updated features throughout etc. After a closer look it turned out to be just that, nicely decorated. We went in the Summer and there is no A/C. It was extremely hot unless you opened every window in the place. No fans to circulate air. Also, the bathtub is a little outdated and not very clean. Not to mention that there is an exposed water pipe in the tub that gets EXTREMELY HOT when using hot water, very dangerous for children. No warnings about it anywhere. Besides that the cabin was pretty good. What I was most unhappy with was the check-in process and the manner in which the Security Deposit was handled. First of all you must arrive between business hours and go to an office located in Big Bear to sign in and get the access codes. With COVID most places do not require you to see anyone in person. The most absurd issue was that in order to check in they send you a sketchy link ahead of your stay to pay the deposit. This is outside the original booking transaction and it’s billed through Airbnb under the category of “issues with rental”. Apparently there is no option to charge a security deposit so they do it this way but I felt the whole time that the return of my deposit was not guaranteed since it wasn’t even billed as a deposit but rather an issue, which by paying you basically agree that there was an issue and you are being charged for it and there really is no guarantee you would get it back. Not to mention the security deposit is $400! That basically doubled my cost! Also, they said that within 2 days of check out they would release it, but I was not issued the deposit back until after 5 days and a lot of requests on my part. I HAVE NEVER in all my Airbnb experiences had to deal with such an unusual method for security deposit. Im just glad I actually got it back.

Not worth the cost. $361/night (total cost) is too much for what you get. Nice place but not worth the price or the hassle. Dishes weren’t put away upon our arrival; we had to pick out the ones we were using. Nor was the bathroom trash taken out. Managers are cold and there are plenty of reminders about how you can lose your deposit. I think they should live up to their own standards. No AC. Note there is NO AC in this unit, but as long as the daytime temp is below 80, you’ll be fine. Jacuzzi is Luke warm even when heated to “104.”

My husband and I stayed here with our two kids for three nights and it was the absolute most perfect place. The hot tub was awesome in a nice way to relax at the end of our day. The cabin itself was absolutely perfect and beautifully decorated. It had everything that we needed. The check in process was easy and Molly responded very quickly to the few questions that we had. We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Molly and Seth were a dream to rent from. They were both very receptive to our messages and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience! Check in was super easy and it was no problem taking the trash to the desired drop off. The cabin is stunning and you can tell each element of design was carefully chosen. We had everything we needed and more! The surrounding area is beautiful and very quiet. We already can't wait to come back and enjoy the cabin again.

One of our favorite cabins in BB. We spent Father’s Day here and had a beautiful time. Conveniently located in the center of town. We recommend opening all the windows or bringing a fan if you’re staying here during the summer. Most cabins here don’t have A/C. First of many Kase Stays in the future! 🤙🏽

We loved the decor and amenities of the place! It was nice to go to an airbnb with really nice silverware, cookware and new appliances that we can confidently cook in. Rice cooker is definitely a nice touch too. Beautiful views from the decks, comfy bed, pillows,and we like how everything we wanted to see (and local shopping places) was so close. Me and my expecting wife and our almost 2 year old boy stayed for a mini baby moon and it was just right for us. Beautiful place with great amenities that are 100% insta-worthy. Me and my girlfriend spent 2 nights on this cabin to unplug from the city a little bit and it was an okay experience. The check-in was a tedious process, you have to physically go into their office to get the code, which in 2021 is a bit odd thing to do, on top of that you will have to pay a $550 security deposit which again was a first for me in a Airbnb rental, I get that you have to protect your assets but that’s why the Airbnb resolution teams exist. There’s some sensible rules to follow like quiet hours etc but having to drop out the trash in a collection center 2 miles away after paying $140.00 in cleaning fees seems a bit excessive. If you are thinking about having a big bear escape worry free there are other options like a lodge that will be easier than this dizzying experience. Other than that it’s a beautiful well decorated in a very quiet neighborhood.

You could not ask for not only a better place to stay but better hosts. They go above and beyond in their quick communication & being the most accommodating. My parents and I stayed for mother’s day and we were able to order a charcuterie board and they had it ready in the fridge by the time we got there! My mom was so surprised! Additionally, it is such a gorgeous and relaxing place to stay. It is the most well designed and beautiful AirBnB I’ve stayed in & I cannot wait to go back!
